Why per-seat pricing is the pain
You buy a tool to track spend, and the tool itself becomes a line item that grows every time you hire someone. The incentives are backwards: the vendor profits when you add people, so the product is designed to make you add people. We built SpendRegister after living that for years across a stack of subscriptions that quietly re-priced themselves at renewal.
Our promise is boring on purpose. One flat annual price for the paid tier. A free tier that's actually free and actually useful. And a register that tells you — before the invoice, not after — what's about to renew and for how much.
